Lila Luxx at Alt. Queerdom.

I recently went through some old folders on my laptop and found these photos of Lila Luxx’s performance at last year’s Alt. Queerdom and had to share them.

It had been several years since I last saw her perform. She did not disappoint!

When I think about it, I’ve known Lila for over a decade. Right back to when she was a fresh face on the Brisbane burlesque scene and would also occasionally perform at several events I used to organise.

It’s been inspiring to watch her journey and see how far she has come as a performer and mentor for many burlesque performers since she took over as director at The Bombshell Burlesque Academy in 2012. Also, Lila is just a genuinely good person!
