Snapshots of Darwin
A little while back, we made a brief visit to Darwin. After nearly four months working in Fitzroy Crossing, my partner and I decided to unwind for a few days in Darwin before returning to Brisbane. It was a well-deserved and needed break.
Darwin is a beautiful place to explore. We also checked out The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, which I highly recommend. The Cyclone Tracy exhibit was insightful and inspiring, showing how far Darwin has come since that tragic event.
Another highlight of our visit to Darwin was checking out Crocosaurus Cove. The reptile exhibit was quite impressive and insightful. Plus, feeding some of the baby crocodiles was pretty damn cool.
On our last night, we celebrated a belated Valentine’s Day with dinner at Charlie’s of Darwin. If you’re in Darwin, be sure to go here. The food was absolutely delicious. Treat yourself to the Taste of NT platter. You won’t be disappointed.
Darwin is a sleepy city but also a great place to unwind and relax. It was exactly what we needed.
