The 62nd Queens Ball Awards.

On the 17th of June, I attended the 62nd Queens Ball Awards. I, along with several friends, were nominated for various awards. I was nominated for Artist of the Year, while an event that I work with, Alt. was nominated for Event of the Year.

While I didn’t win my category, I was proud to see it go to Micah Rustichelli. He is truly a name to watch out for. The Queens Ball Awards are actually the world’s longest-running Queer Awards night. It was great to celebrate the achievements of those who contribute to making Brisbane’s LGBTIQ+ community the wondrous and diverse community that it is today.

Not to mention it was a great excuse to glam up and get a little lit.
