Madeline Glasseater as a Bride of Dracula
Anyone who knows me would know that I have a deep love for Gothic Horror. Two of my favourite novels are Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and Bram Stoker’s Dracula. When I was younger, I was utterly captivated by Francis Ford Coppola’s film adaptation of Dracula. I remember watching it repeatedly on VHS until the machine ate the videotape. That was a sorrowful day, and with a lot of tears.
Recently, Alt. hosted a Halloween-themed night with an incredible lineup of performances. One of the highlights was Madeline Glasseater’s performance, inspired by my beloved movie. Dressed as one of Dracula’s brides, Glasseater delivered a mesmerising and hypnotic performance. Of which I don’t expect anything less from her. I recently sorted through the photos I took that night and couldn’t resist sharing them with you.
