A little Sydney Adventure.
At the end of January, Cris and I took a short trip to Sydney for a few days. With both of us caught up in work, it was the perfect chance for a little getaway. Plus, Cris had never been to Sydney before, so it was exciting to show him around and experience the city together. With no strict itinerary, we spent most of our time exploring, turning each day into its own little adventure. Some highlights included visiting The Rocks, where we wandered through the historic laneways, and spending time at Luna Park, soaking in the nostalgic fun of the amusement park.
I spent much of my youth there, but it had been quite a while since my last visit. This trip also allowed me to reconnect with family. Some of whom I hadn’t seen since I was nineteen. Why so long? Well, that’s a story for another time. But what truly made this visit even more special was how warmly my family welcomed Cris. Meeting family for the first time can be daunting, but they embraced him right away, which meant the world to me. Despite the years apart, being with them again felt like no time had passed, and we all agreed we wouldn’t let so much time slip by before the next visit.
