Get pumped for YesFest! Australia’s own LGBTI version of Live Aid

Do you like concerts, DJs, live music, and most of all equality? Well, we’ve got some great news for you!
Spotless Stadium in Sydney is playing host to YesFest on Sunday the 29th of October. The one-day festival that will be a celebration for those who want to see marriage equality in Australia become a reality and encourage those to return their same-sex marriage postal survey.
In what is being nicknamed as Australia’s LGBTI version of Live Aid, the festival has one hell of a lineup. So who will be performing at YesFest, you may ask?  Brace yourself for this!

 
Client Liaison, Jimmy Barnes, The Preatures, Megan Washington, Touch Sensitive,  Elizabeth Rose, Flight Facilities (DJ Set), Heaps Gay DJs, Jack Colwell, KirinJ Callinan, Killing Heidi, KLP, Nick Cester (Jet), Northeast Party House and Tkay Maidza. 
If that wasn’t exciting enough, they will also be joined by local LGBTI icons and allies such as the likes of Courtney Act, Jackie Loeb, Jordan Raskopoulos, Danny Clayton, Christian Wilkins, Billy Russell and will be hosted by Osher Günsberg.

This is only the first announcement of artists that will be gracing the stage, so definitely keep an eye out for further announcements.
If you’re wondering how you can be one of the lucky ones to score a ticket to this historic event, it’s rather simple.  Post off your Yes vote, and head over to www.YesFest.com.au. All profits from the ticket sales will be going to the Equality Campaign. Talk about partying for a good cause!
If you’re not able to make to Sydney by the end of the month never fear. Following the lead of festivals like Coachella, YesFest will be streamed live on Youtube, so you don’t miss a moment!
