The one thing you could always rely on with 90s pop, was their iconic dance routines. Spice Girls had ‘Stop’, 5ive’s ‘Keep on Moving’, there was Steps. That pop act is probably more famous for their dance routines than their actual music, ‘5,6,7,8’ and ‘Tragedy’. As much as I hate to admit it, those dance routines are completely ingrained into my mind thanks to my 90s teen years.
It may be 2017, but the members of Steps haven’t seem to age a great deal. Maybe that’s just the over the top makeup and lens flare. It seems the pop group are attempting to bring those epic dance routines back for a new generation.
The music video for their track ‘Scared Of The Dark’ has dropped and they’ve got the moves to match it. Depending who you ask will decide on whether it’s good or not. Either way, it’s one hell of a good laugh.
Check it out below.
It’s so bad, it’s great! Something makes me think these moves will be popping up in every gay bar around the globe.
