I’ve watched it a couple of times now and I’m all kinds of impressed. Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Homecoming might very well be the Spider-Man movie we’ve all been waiting for!
Tom Holland has all the charm as teenager turned vigilante Peter Parker who spends his time outside the school room catching criminals throughout the streets of New York, and thanks to Peter’s new pal Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr), this web-slinger has whole bunch of new toys to do so.
“Just don’t do anything I would do – and definitely don’t do anything I wouldn’t do. There’s a little grey area in there and that’s where you operate,” Stark advises him, “Listen, I know school sucks. I know you want to save the world. But you’re not ready yet. Stay close to the ground. And stay out of trouble.”
Just these two lines alone captures the essence of the Spider-Man we love that has often been forgotten about when studios have brought the character to the big screen. This new take on the character sees him going up against the Vulture (Michael Keaton), Shocker (Bokeem Woodbine), The Tinkerer (Michael Chernus), and it looks like it’s gonna be one hell of a fight.

It looks like Marvel Studios have hit a hole in one with this!
