Okay so this might not be up there with Chris Pratt and Anna Faris splitting, but the bromance ending between Justin Bieber and Floyd Mayweather Jr. has definitely made headlines.
According to a report by TMZ, Bieb’s has sought some guidance from his spiritual advisers from Hillsong Church, that has resulted in the pop star questioning what company he keeps.
Allegedly his advisers had suggested that he reexamines his friends and has been encouraged to distance himself from anyone that may be a bad influence.
It seems Mayweather made it to the list that the pop star feels the need to distance himself from. While it’s been said that the church has no way singled out the American athlete, it was actually Biebs who decided to take some space from the bromance and unfollowed him on Instagram.
Turns out the 40-year-old takes being unfollowed on social media very seriously, with the undefeated boxer being furious with reports claiming that he went “insane” and “nuclear.” Mayweather even went as far to allegedly call the pop star a “traitor” feeling betrayed as he stood by Justin during his highly publicized meltdown.
If that wasn’t enough salt to the wounds, Biebs allegedly believes that Mayweather won’t be able to knock out Connor McGregor when they go up against each other this weekend.
Now we just wait for Biebs release his own “Bad Blood” styled diss track. We’re sure Taylor Swift would have a few pointers!
